Sirius is over 140 channels of commercial-free music, news, talk, sports and entertainment as well as traffic and weather, all available where you want it, whether it be your car, home, smartphone or laptop.

Sirius was officially launched in July of 2002 but what makes Sirius XM worth having is its premium audio content. Sirius XM Radio has content relationships with a diverse group of personalities and artists, including Howard Stern, Martha Stewart, Oprah Winfrey and others. For the sports fan, Sirius XM Radio is the Official Satellite Radio Partner of the NFL, Major League Baseball, Nascar, NBA, NHL, PGA Tour and major college sports.

Believe it: Smartphones about to get even smarter

There are now more than 100 million smartphone users in the United States, according to the latest comScore report.

But even as smartphone use increases, the devices are undergoing dramatic — and speedy —evolution. Here’s a look at several prominent mobile trends that are emerging:

  • Smartphones are featuring ever-faster processors, Dual-core processors once reserved for the latest super phones are now standard fare on many smartphones. By the end of 2012, manufacturers will need to include a quad-core processor to be considered a high-end mobile device.
  • Large, high-resolution touchscreens are also in high demand on the latest smartphones and tablets. Not long ago, a 4-inch screen on a smartphone was considered large; today, 4-inch-plus screens are fairly common, with a couple of models topping 5 inches and featuring high-resolution, 1280 x 800 pixel displays. Netflix offers a mail subscription DVD and Blu-ray disc rental service as well as video streaming via the Internet.

Netflix streaming options are numerous: the firm supports computers, all of the major mobile platforms including Android and iOS, a variety of game consoles, practically all of the dedicated streaming devices as well as many popular Blu-ray players and TVs.
