The Nemus Camera Beta by Nemustech.Kr.Android for Android features ‘What You See is What You Get’ (WYSIWYG) Camera effects.

The application currently features seventeen effects of which you can preview 9 of your favorites simultaneously. All the previews effects are rendered live simultaneously on your screen. The interface couldn’t be easier, point the camera at your subject then choose the effect by tapping on the WYSIWYG preview. The screen will then preview that effect full screen, press the shutter button and you’re done. The effects are reminiscent of the Apple photo booth application.

Samsung Galaxy S II keeps the top spot in June on uSwitch comparison site as the UK’s most popular handset HTC handsets continue to dominate the chart with six of the top 10 positions Android still rules the operators – Google powers eight of the top 10 handsets.

Samsung Galaxy SL packs more features than many other phones in its range

Samsung has come up with the updated version of its popular Android smartphone i9000 Galaxy S. The next in the series is i9003 Galaxy SL with a brand new technology – super clear LCD screen. Display is not the only change in the new phone and it turns out that there several major modifications under the hood as well.

Phones for Seniors interested in the basics

I started researching cell phone options for seniors after Arthur, my 81-year-old father-in-law, mentioned that he might be interested in buying his first cellular phone. Several other friends and co-workers mentioned that they too were looking to purchase a cell-phone for a senior in their lives, that prompted me to write this story.

Galaxy S 4G coming February 23 to T-mobile.

The Galaxy S will be available on T-Mobile February 23rd for the introductory price of $149.99 for a limited time. You can sign-up on T-Mobile’s site to be notified when its available to order.

The Galaxy S will be T-Mobile’s third 4 G phone and the first smartphone capable of delivering theoretical peak download speeds of up to 21 Mbps on T-mobile’s HSPA+ network.

T-Mobile Froyo update not OTA but via Samsung Kies mini software (available now)

The Samsung Vibrant update that was announced by T-Mobile’s chief marketing officer Cole Brodman on January 20 was reportedly to begin rolling out on January 21. Brodman had previously stated that ” The upgrade will come in waves, so not all Vibrant owners will receive it on the first day”, implying an OTA update.  Download links after the break.

T-Mobiles chief marketing office Cole Brodman confirmed an Android 2.2 (Froyo) upgrade was coming to the Samsung Vibrant Galaxy S starting January 21, according to a PC Magazine report.

Windows Phone 7 SD card performance requirements and limitations!

There has been a lot of speculation and misinformation about how Windows Phone 7 (WP7) handsets use SD card memory to expand system memory. According to a recent Microsoft support document WP7 treats SD card memory as a permanent integrated component of your phone and not as removable expandable storage.
